The House Oversight Committee has made public a collection of roughly 70 photos from the estate of late adjudicated sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third such disclosure from a tranche of over 95,000 photographs the body has acquired from Epstein's holdings. It contains pictures of quotes from the literary work Lolita written across a female's body, and redacted images of women's overseas passports.

This action occurs just hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the DOJ to disclose all files associated with its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest images raise additional questions about exactly what the Justice Department has in its custody," stated the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Released

Some of the photographs published on this week depict Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky on a private jet; Bill Gates standing beside a woman whose features is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a workstation across from Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the latest wealthy, influential individuals to be photographed in Epstein's estate photographs disclosed by the oversight panel - previously released photos also include US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Being pictured in the photos is not proof of any illegal activity, and several of the featured figures have said they were never participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a press release released with the image release, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate did not supply explanatory details or timings for the images.

"Photographs were picked to furnish the general populace with clarity into a representative sample of the photographs acquired from the estate, and to provide insights into Epstein's network and his extremely alarming activities," the announcement states.

The publication also features a number of photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita written in ink across various areas of a female's body, such as her upper body, lower extremity, hipbone, and back. Lolita tells the story of a minor who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

An example of a quote from the work scrawled across a woman's upper body states, "Lolita: the tip of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the roof of the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a collection of photos of women's travel documents and identification documents from states globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the documents, including names and DOBs, is redacted but the House Oversight Committee indicated in a statement that the passports are associated with "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were interacting with".

Another photo features Epstein positioned at a table intimately surrounded by three female figures whose features have been obscured - one individual has her hand on Epstein's upper body under his shirt, and a second is crouching to view a nearby device. Epstein can be seen to be assisting the final person fasten a piece of jewelry.

A further image made public is a screenshot of digital messages from an unidentified individual who states they have been sent "several females" and are demanding "$1000 per female".

Photo Disclosure Comes Prior to DOJ Due Date

The committee has a vast number of images in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "simultaneously explicit and ordinary," its announcement on this week explained.

The Congressional committee first subpoenaed the holdings of Epstein, who died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on allegations of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The photographs and files the Epstein property provided to the panel are distinct from what is often called "the Epstein documents". Those files are documents in the Department of Justice's control related to its own inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which the President made law in November, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its files. The extent of what is found in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's likely that much of the information will be significantly redacted, akin to Congressional releases
