Man Utd v Brighton – Premier League Updates

Introduction

The Red Devils, coming off victories against Liverpool and Sunderland, aim for three Premier League wins straight tonight. The wind’s behind them managed by Ruben Amorim currently!

However, Brighton are the Seagulls, with victories during three consecutive away games at the Theatre of Dreams, and six of the last seven fixtures head-to-head.

Despite United’s form; for the Seagulls relatively easy. That said, Brighton themselves remain consistently inconsistent as their hosts, therefore the fixture appears both fascinating and potentially highly entertaining.

Kick-off is at 5.30pm BST one last mention with daylight saving ending, everyone. It’s on!

Squad Updates

Manchester United make a couple of alterations after last week’s victory at Anfield last weekend. Šeško is selected instead of Mount, who drops to the bench, while last week’s win-securing hero Maguire is absent entirely, Leny Yoro taking his place in defense.

An issue arose in midweek sessions. Malacia returns on the bench for the first time this season.

Brighton & Hove Albion make one change post-success against versus Newcastle. Seemingly a tactical shift, bringing in De Cuyper instead of Gómez, on the bench.

Welbeck, formerly of United to win the Premier League in 2012-13, comes back to Manchester with great momentum of four goals in three games, exceeding his tally in his previous 15.

Build-Up

Amorim is unfazed for the opinions of the Reds’ manager … yet Welbeck is mindful regarding the plans by the former Chelsea manager.

It is widely discussed the fixture may influence their respective fortunes during the league campaign progresses.

Ones to watch include Bruno Fernandes from the hosts and the Brighton forward for the visitors, both in fine form in recent weeks.
